"Canada Goose"

Canada Goose is a clean, well equipped Hughes 38' sailing sloop designed by the world famous yacht designers, Sparkman & Stevens. She has a beautiful, warm teak interior accented with oil burning brass lamps.

This fine sailing vessel boasts a large V-berth forward and an additional quarter berth and has a full head and with shower. Hot and cold running water, cabin heat, and refrigeration all contribute to making her a fine, well appointed vessel. Double filtered, ice cold drinking water, propane stove, oven and BarBQ. make living aboard a wonderful experience.

Our official watch keeper, " Miss Victoria", a beautiful hand carved Canada Goose is permanently mounted on the salon bulkhead. She is constantly on duty and will assure your total comfort.

The graphics on the hull, depicting a flock of Canada Geese, were designed by world famous northwest coast native artist, Roy Henry Vickers, a longtime friend of Skipper Dave. Roy's works are owned and shown by heads of state throughout the world.

"Canada Goose" is an experienced offshore designed and equipped cruiser / racer. Recently, she sailed to San Diego and returned on a one year quest for the sun!
